Announcements:
The take-home final exam, as you know, is being handed out today. It's also posted online here. It's due Thursday Dec 15th before 3 pm. Late penalties aren't flexible. (I cannot accept the exam by email, except in extremely extenuating circumstances, in which case you'll have to get permission from me.)
Your marked work: I'll be in my office (Vari 2029) with your marked essays and other marked work on the 15th; I'll be there from 1 pm onwards. I'll also be there on the 16th from 10 to 3:30. After that, I will put your marked work in the main Anthropology Department office (Vari 2054) for you to pick up. The exception is the final exams: we have to keep those on file, so I won't return them to you.
Readings from the last several weeks are all available outside my office (Vari 2029) and have also been posted in pdf form to this website (here).
I'd also like to announce what a great class you've been. I've really enjoyed working with you -- thanks for all your efforts. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you again next term.
By the way, Books for other courses next term.
If you happen to be taking one of my classes next term, here are the books. They probably won't be available at the York bookstore for a while. Some of them you can probably get used. e.g. Debating the Archaeological Heritage was used here last year in 3130. Rubbish! has been around for a while, so you might be able to get a used copy online.
