Group Members / Molly Hu

Molly Hu was born in Shanghai, China and immigrated to Canada at the age of 9.  She completed her undergraduate studies in (Honours) B.Sc. at both Western (2015) and Trent University (2018).  After taking an organic chemistry class with spectroscopy in her third year of study at Western University, she developed a strong interest in pursuing further studies in this field, especially in drug development. Molly will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemistry at the Hili Lab in Fall 2018, where she will work on synthesizing and screening DNA-encoded libraries to tackle current problems in healthcare.  In her free time, Molly enjoys volunteering in the community, baking and decorating cupcakes, practicing martial arts, and binge-watching Netflix at record speed.
