Acknowledgements

The Web Research Tutorial was developed by Adam Taves, Hugh McCague and Thumeka Mgwigwi as a joint project of York University Libraries and the York University Foundations Computer Assistance Program.

In creating this tutorial, we are indebted to Cheryl Dickie from the Centre for the Support of Teaching at York University for her gracious assistance and providing the web template for the content.

Some of the material in the "WWW Browsers" section was adapted from workshop material from the former Computer-Assisted Writing Centre (CAWC), York University. Web research workshop material developed by Patrick O'Neill, from the Faculty of Arts at York University, and the former CAWC was also helpful.
