Media becas:

El plazo de inscripción para Cursos de Verano en Universidades Españolas estará abierto entre el 1 de Enero hasta el 28 de Febrero de 2007. La inscripción se debe hacer en línea a:
http://www.sgci.mec.es/usa/becas. Se entregará media beca (mitad de los gastos de inscripción a los cursos) a todos los candidados.

Beca completa:

La Oficina de Educación de la Embajada de España en Washington ofrece una beca completa para un candidato que sea Miembro de la OMLTA . El plazo de inscripción se abrirá el 1º de Enero y finalizará el 28 de Febrero de 2007.

1. Enviar un Curriculum Vitae (siguiendo este modelo de solicitud ) y dos cartas de referencia a: OMLTA (#113-2110 Cleaver Avenue, Burlington, Ontario, L7M 3Z3, Fax: (905) 315-7880, E-mail: omlta@idirect.com
2. Inscribirse en el curso de su interés: http://www.sgci.mec.es/usa/becas

Además de ser miembro de la OMLTA (Ontario Modern Languages Teachers' Association) el candidato debe cumplir los siguientes requisitos:

1. Haber trabajado como profesor de Español al menos 2 años 

2. Ser profesor activo de Español en el momento de la solicitud 

3. Trabajar a tiempo completo y enseñar la mayoría de sus cursos en español

Tendrán prioridad los candidatos que presenten el Diploma del Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE). 

Después de su retorno de España se les sugiere a los candidatos (en particular al candidato / a la candidata que haya obtenido la beca completa):

1. Describir su experiencia en el Centro de Recursos de Español y en el Congreso anual de primavera organizado por la OMLTA que tendrá lugar el año siguiente 

2. O conceder una entrevista / escribir un artículo para los medios de comunicación de lengua española en Toronto 

3. O escribir un artículo sobre dicho tema para la revista Communication de la OMLTA.

Half scholarships:

The registration for Summer Courses in Spanish Universities will be open from January 1st to February 28th, 2007. Registration must be done on line at: http://www.sgci.mec.es/usa/becas. All eligible applicants will receive a scholarship covering half of the course fees.

Full scholarship:

The Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington will grant one full scholarship to an applicant who is an OMLTA member. Registration is open between January 1st and February 28th, 2007. Registration for the full scholarship must be done in two steps:

2. Register online for a course of your choice: http://www.sgci.mec.es/usa/becas

Supplementary information:

1. To be eligible, applicants must be active Spanish teachers and have at least two full years of teaching experience. 

2. They must be prepared to participate fully in all course activities. 

3. The recipient will be responsible for his/her airfare to and from Spain.

Preference will be given to those candidates who have the Diploma of Spanish as a Second Language (DELE). 

The successful candidate will be responsible for his / her airfare to and from Spain.

After his / her return from Spain, the candidate is kindly asked to:

1.Talk about his / her experience at the Spanish Resource Centre and within the OMLTA’s Annual Spring Congress the following year;

2.Grant an interview to / write an article for Spanish Media;

3.Write an article for OMLTA’s magazine Communication describing his / her experience.
